And while I’m on the subject – how come business fat cats can vote themselves huge salary rises, bonuses, share options and pensions (occasionally on the recommendation of some independent body – whose interpretation of independent is in no thesaurus) while they hack away at the wages and pensions of their workforce. The very people who make their lifestyle possible.
Now I’m getting bloody angry.
I think I’ll go and make a coffee. Better make it decaff. Perhaps have a mince pie.
