THREE STEPS TO MINCE PIE HEAVEN

I feel a JOCKEY SHORT coming on (new readers: Jack’s Official Crucial Key Educational Yardsticks, a snappy one).

I’m not quite in the Christmas mood yet, thanks to a foul cold, but the smell of Mrs N’s mince pies baking in the oven is bringing it ever nearer, so here’s a seasonal cracker.

There are many ways to eat mince pies – neat or with single/double/clotted cream being the most popular – but this is the best and everyone should try it:

Take a mince pie (preferably home-made) in your left hand, a nice chunk of stilton cheese in your right, take a good bite of the pie and then a good bite of the stilton, chew and swallow together for culinary heaven.

DO IT!

P.S. The order of the hands isn’t crucial.
