I don’t suppose Tony Blair is feeling the pinch this weekend, while most of us are skint.
His pension as Prime Minister is £64,000 as year – more than most of us EARN in two years (3/4/more years for some). Then there are huge sums for speaking engagements, £5m lined up from his memoirs, and now £500,000 a year for advising American bank JP Morgan.
I can give them some advice for nothing. You’re chucking your money away! Gordon Brown was the financial guru; Blair was the warmonger.
Unless, of course, JP Morgan is really a SMERSH-type operation, building up its coffers to conquer the world.
Mmm, could be on to something there.
Tell you what, JP – prove you're legit by offering the job to me instead (never been overdrawn in my life!). I'll do it for £50K a year.
Just let me know via the Comment box, Guys...
