So, according to research, today is the most depressing day of the year. What with unpaid Christmas bills, failed New Year resolutions, and foul January weather.
Tell you what I’m depressed about – university tutors getting paid for wasting their time on this sort of crap.
Dr Cliff Arnall is the culprit here. The Cardiff University psychologist apparently used mathematical equations to reach his verdict on ‘Blue Monday’.
When all he had to do was ask the 'man in the street'. Anyone. His neighbour, the bloke on the bus, the woman in the Post Office queue.
Get a proper job, man!
