SOMEBODY CALL IN THE EUPHEMISM POLICE

So, Conway Twitty, MP, has got his comeuppance (of sorts): as predicted, a 10-day suspension from the Commons and an order to repay £13,161 of taxpayers' money he ‘overpaid’ his son Freddie for alleged research, for which there are no records.

The really good news is that Conway has decided not to stand at the next general election.

The bad news is that proper justice has still not seen to be done. Yet. Hopefully it won’t be too long before there is a proper investigation – if only by the Euphemism Police.

Overpaid, eh?
