I’ve only just caught up with the news that many men in long-term relationships have given up on sex. Basically, according to Relate (Marriage Guidance as was), they can’t be arsed.
Jesus, boys! Think of all the agonies you went through as a teenager. Was it for nothing!?
As somebody on the verge of a Ruby 40-year campaign medal, I can see where they’re coming from, or in this case, not coming from. Routine can do that to you. Very few of us – men or women – are inventive enough to make sex fresh and thrilling over a long period. But there’s nothing wrong with comfy and familiar.
And think of your partner, Guys. I empty the dishwasher every morning. Not for me, but for Mrs N; for us, as a couple.
Not a good analogy. I meant, of course, I load the dishwasher every night. Well, not every night, but often enough for a Sexy-genarian. Know what I mean?
